Work through a subject
Each subject runs 12 lessons in the order the MCAT builds them. Tick lessons off as you go and pick up where you left off.
Look up what you missed
Search every section by topic — "Doppler effect", "glycolysis", "operant conditioning" — and land on the exact section, not a 40-page page.
Review in summary mode
Every section opens with a one-line summary. Switch a lesson to summaries-only for a fast pass in the weeks before test day.
Questions about the notes
- Are these MCAT notes really free?
- Yes. Every lesson is free to read with no account, no email signup, and no paywall. AdmissionsAcademy is a mission-driven organization and these notes are part of the free resources we publish for pre-health students.
- Who wrote these MCAT content review notes?
- They started as the personal content-review notes of a 525 MCAT scorer and have since been reviewed and expanded by other high-scoring students. They are a high-level overview of the content the MCAT tests, not a replacement for full-length practice exams.
- How should I use these notes in my MCAT prep?
- Use them for content review alongside practice questions. Read a lesson before starting a question set on that topic, then come back to the specific section you missed questions on. The summaries-only view is designed for review in the final weeks before your test.
- Do the notes cover every MCAT subject?
- They cover all six tested science and behavioral subjects: biology, biochemistry, general chemistry, organic chemistry, physics, and psychology/sociology. CARS has no content to memorize, so it is not included.
- Can I track which lessons I have finished?
- Yes. Tick "Mark complete" on any lesson and your progress is saved in your browser. Nothing is sent to us and no account is required, so your progress is per-device.
Want the notes in your own Notion?
The notes are also published as a Notion page you can duplicate into your own workspace to annotate and track alongside your study plan. This site is the faster way to read them; Notion is the way to make them yours.
