Our Mission
AdmissionsAcademy is a nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to medical and healthcare education and academic opportunity. We provide equitable, and affordable admissions guidance, mentorship, and resources to aspiring premedical and medical students - with a special focus on supporting those from historically underserved backgrounds.
Our mission is reducing barriers to entry and empower students to succeed, increasing diversity in medicine other high-impact fields. By increasing access, we aim to reduce systemic barriers and help build a more diverse, representative, and effective healthcare and physician workforce.
AdmissionsAcademy is incorporated in the Commonwealth of Virginia and is actively applying for 501(c)(3) nonprofit recognition.
📉 The Problem We're Solving
The path to medical school is more expensive and exclusive than ever.
- Over 80% of medical students come from the top 20% of income earners
- Admissions consulting, MCAT prep, and interview coaching can cost thousands of dollars
- Students from low-income, first-generation, or underrepresented backgrounds often lack mentorship and guidance
We believe no student should be locked out of their future because they can't afford the roadmap.
🚀 What We Do
We've built a scalable platform that guides students through the med school admissions process with:
- A free Pre-Med Essentials course
- A comprehensive Pre-Med Pathway program with need-based subsidies
- Automated support tools and accountability systems
- A mission-focused model designed to level the playing field
So far, we've supported over 100 students - and we're just getting started.
